Las Vegas, NV (USA) – The night before one of the biggest sporting events in the world, Las Vegas will play host to some of the biggest stars in all of mixed martial arts, as the UFC delivers a tripleheader of explosive fights on Saturday, February 5th, that make it clear that the hardest hitting in the sports world comes without helmets and pads.
In the main event of UFC 126: SILVA vs. BELFORT, which is presented by Bud Light at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, the UFC® middleweight title will be on the line when pound for pound great Anderson “The Spider” Silva looks to extend his record title reign against history-seeking Vitor “The Phenom” Belfort, who is attempting to become only the third man to hold UFC belts in two weight classes.
Also on the main card at UFC 126, it’s a clash of former world champions as Forrest Griffin takes on Rich “Ace” Franklin in a bout that is certain to have major title implications in the 205-pound weight class; and speaking of the light heavyweight division, two of its most exciting rising stars will clash when Jon “Bones” Jones takes on Ryan “Darth” Bader.

Plus, I can’t wait to see Forrest Griffin and Rich Franklin mix it up; they’re two former champions that are known for being in the middle of instant classics. And then we have the next wave of stars in the Jon Jones vs. Ryan Bader fight. Both of these guys are the future of our sport and possess unlimited talent. It’s impossible to pick a winner here.”

UFC 126 will also be available on Pay-Per-View in Spanish in the United States.
Arguably the most gifted and dominating fighter in UFC history, Anderson Silva (fighting out of Curitiba, Brazil / 27-4) is currently riding a record-breaking 13-fight winning streak inside the Octagon that includes seven middleweight title defenses (another record). Owner of wins over Rich Franklin (twice), Chris Leben, Nate Marquardt, Thales Leites, and Forrest Griffin, Silva’s dynamic style has baffled opponents in the UFC for over four years now. Fresh from a stirring come from behind submission victory over Chael Sonnen in August, Silva now readies himself for perhaps his stiffest challenge yet in countryman Vitor Belfort.
“This is a fight I’ve been looking forward to for a while,” Silva said. “Vitor is a very talented striker and a tough competitor. I am training very hard and I know that the fight could go anywhere, but I expect a standup war. I also want to say that I’m very excited to be fighting in Las Vegas again. I have a lot of fans in Vegas and it’s been a while since I’ve fought there. The fans are always very loud in Las Vegas and I feed off that energy.”
A veteran of the early days of the UFC, Vitor Belfort (fighting out Las Vegas, Nev. / 19-8) first captivated fight fans with his blazing hand speed and fight ending power. But there was more to Belfort’s game than his knockout victories over Tank Abbott and Wanderlei Silva, and the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt showed off his abilities both standing and on the mat in memorable battles around the globe. In 2004, he stopped Randy Couture to win the UFC light heavyweight title, and after a few years away from the Octagon, he returned in 2009 with a blistering first round knockout of Rich Franklin. Now “The Phenom” looks to make UFC history against one of the best to ever put on the gloves.
“I’m back!” Belfort said. “Back to my house, to the place where I built my legacy. The feeling couldn’t be better. I’m at the right place and it’s the right time for my family members and my UFC fans to see me win that UFC title once again. You’re in for a great fight.”
Winner of season one of The Ultimate Fighter and a former light heavyweight champion, Forrest Griffin (fighting out of Las Vegas, Nev. / 17-6) instantly became one of the must popular figures in the sport when he won a three round war against Stephan Bonnar in the season finale of The Ultimate Fighter in 2005. Since then, Griffin has continued to show why he is on every fan’s ‘must see’ list, scoring exciting victories over Mauricio “Shogun” Rua, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, and Tito Ortiz while winning a 205-pound title in the process. In his most recent bout, at UFC 106 in November of 2009, Griffin pounded out a three round win over Ortiz in their highly-anticipated rematch, and he knows that a win over Franklin will edge him ever closer to a shot at regaining his world championship belt.
A true pioneer of the UFC, Rich Franklin (fighting out of Cincinnati, Ohio. / 28-5, 1 NC) began his stint in the Octagon back in 2003 at UFC 42. Two years later, he was a world champion after defeating Evan Tanner at UFC 53. After two successful title defenses, “Ace” was dethroned by current champion Anderson Silva, but he was undeterred by the setback, scoring big victories over Jason MacDonald, Yushin Okami, Travis Lutter, Matt Hamill, and Wanderlei Silva. In June of 2010, Franklin squared off against UFC Hall of Famer Chuck Liddell, and despite suffering a broken arm from a kick delivered by “The Iceman”, the resilient Franklin went on to score a devastating first round knockout. On February 5th, Franklin will once again square off against a fellow UFC superstar in Forrest Griffin.
A gifted athlete whose work ethic matches his natural ability, Jon Jones (fighting out of Endicott, N.Y. / 11-1) took the mixed martial arts world by storm as soon as he stepped into the Octagon for the first time in 2008, and he hasn’t missed a beat yet. A dynamic striker with an unorthodox style that has marked him as a ‘can’t miss’ prospect for world title honors, Jones has marched through the likes of Brandon Vera, Vladimir Matyushenko, and Stephan Bonnar, and he hopes to do the same thing to fellow hot prospect Ryan Bader this February.
Unbeaten in 13 pro bouts, Ryan Bader (fighting out of Tempe, Ariz. / 13-0) has lived up to all expectations placed on his shoulders after he won season eight of The Ultimate Fighter in 2008. Owner of victories over Eric Schafer, Keith Jardine, and most recently, Antônio Rogério Nogueira, since his TUF stint, the former two-time All-American wrestler from Arizona State University is eager for his time to shine against Jon Jones at UFC 126.

"
To use more than directly Ellenberger wrestling take Howard and implement his game, mixing, high-performance computing (HPC) striking a balance between on the one hand, and the poor quality of the work of the clinch Howard.
"His transitions were really good, shall issue to him that," Howard said."He is just a different paragraph, wrestling, and he has a good understanding of the mixing until OCT and wrestling. He did a great job; I cannot take anything away from him. "
Of course, would be likely to use a different strategy Alves Howard than Ellenberger, talented, professional wrestler.
"Really does not appear to me taking hänelletorjunnasta, I am not concentrating on that," he said. "I think our Jiu Jitsu level and the level is the same about wrestling. "

This is Matt Brown wants to return to it with the transition to the middleweight feeling.
Jon Anik ESPN's Live after notification to the OVERSEAS COUNTRIES AND TERRITORIES (OCTS) last week that the UFC was released Matt "Immortal" Brown, it seemed as though the Immortal one should find the life outside the welterweight UFC Octagon.
Brown is the wrong version of the report.Prommanow.com spoke with Matt Brown today and he officially confirmed his UFC is not more than, and in fact, the ultimate fighter season seven veteran is considering move to not more than 185 pound middleweight division.
Brown said he called UFC matchmaker Joe Silva thank him for the purpose of releasing him not because he knows is not their usual practice to keep a fighter for the 3rd year in a row of three losses.
If one considers what separates the other travellers UFC is released under the same conditions in respect of Brown, the fact that only one of his fights inside the Octagon is gone and decision No 280/2004/is bound to take into account.
Brown was the last, Brian foster, Baron foster of Thames Bank second round at UFC 123. He talked about what went wrong. "I definitely don't think I did the best I could. The fight was going to probably around than I expected other than I just really does not give my hands go to enough, "said Brown.
"Foster, Baron foster of Thames Bank, where it was just a stupid mistake.Such as come up with one leg and was Guillotined and you know I 133-135, the transfer of a million times. I knew he wanted to settle the iniquities of the guard, he does not like to get a lot of your own security guard. So I'm much requested 133-135 if one foot and had to run it with a large practice, and I'm usually really tough guy guillotine, but he was actually my arm in such a way as to the way could not defend as a general rule, I would like to Only learning things. [1] [2].More power to him, but I do not think it would happen again. ""
Before that, foster, Baron foster of Thames Bank, Brown was referred to the UFC 116, Chris Lytle and Ricardo Almeida, UFC 111. " Almeida and Lytle, they are pretty Damn good on the date of submission of the two guys "Brown said. "They were, by placing itself, in which I was not itself cause situations, I was not in the circumstances. Only small errors. "
When Brown arrived at the first UFC and he was a member of the Ohio resident training Team Jorge Gurgel. He later moved to Las Vegas, but currently resides in Seattle and trains Matt Hume. Twins new father than Brown, however, intends to return to the soon-to-Ohio if he is close to his family and some much needed help for babies.
Although Jorge Gurgel is BJJ black belt and has helped to produce some amazing on the date of submission of the travellers, Brown doesn't know, his transition Team Gurgel is his reason for the submission of the history of recent losses.
"Matt Hume is probably the best coach could ever imagine. Brown is not, as I was getting the shorted or picking up defense offense or my grappling," said."I think the biggest thing comin' back to Ohio has a positive impact on the my life as a whole. This is where I am from, and the twins, they are my family More around. This in mind I think I will be more relaxed and comfortable and that my land, I think better to me is generic. And still Here I shall act under the authority of the Ohio State wrestlers and Jorge Gurgel and can still get good training here, too. "
Brown told Joe Silva, he was in the contend that the transition to the middleweight. [2] [3] he explains his.
"Weight-cut has received more and more difficult for me in the last few years," said Brown, "I do not know why.Perhaps my body is only getting bigger and or whatever, but the weight-cut has been really really disturbs me so I've been Considering moving up to 185."
Silva has given him an idea of when his next fight can be but wanted to give him some time to get his weight, if it must be.
"He did not really give me time," said Brown. "He told me the reason for him or her, if necessary, move up, if I am probably going to have a few pounds of muscle to invest only a phone call., in principle, he told me puts some of the weight and call me when you have finished. so I plan to have quite a lot through the holidays to relax, spend time with my new baby. Training camp I received a really is the father of a lot of, you know, I had a lot in the course of the training So I'm going to spend time. [3] [4] and his father is a little time ago for my [expletive] together, then try to get back there and [expletive] someone up. "
Brown has fought for the 185 has quite a few times earlier in his career, so that the transfer should not be something completely foreign to him. [1] [2] before he makes his final decision on the conclusion of the agreement, even if he wants to check with the nutritionist.
You can use the picture of Matt Brown 15-pound of muscle added? this is quite a scary thought.
